Oct 9 – Oct 31, 2026
Artists: Julia Wimmerlin, Renate Fluri and Marco Benedetti
Guest Artist: Ana Pita
Unbound Bodies explores the body not as a fixed form, but as a fluid and evolving space, shaped by memory, identity, vulnerability and transformation.
Bringing together photography, textile art and experimental image-making, the exhibition asks how the body can reveal who we are while also concealing, protecting or reinventing identity. Across the works, the body appears fragmented, abstracted, stitched, layered and transformed, resisting conventional definitions of gender, beauty and completeness.
Julia Wimmerlin’s photographic series Calligraphy and Nymph turn the body into a language of movement and metamorphosis. Renate Fluri’s textile works explore the body through material, touch and memory, while Marco Benedetti examines vulnerability, rupture and healing. Guest artist Ana Pita expands this dialogue with her own artistic perspective on the body and its expressive possibilities.
Together, the four artists invite us to encounter the body as something unbound: intimate yet universal, fragile yet powerful, and always in the process of becoming.
