Galerie Sechs is pleased to present Unfinished Beginnings, the reopening exhibition of the gallery’s new space. Bringing together all represented and featured artists of the gallery, the exhibition marks not only a physical relocation, but the beginning of a renewed curatorial vision centered on emotionally immersive contemporary art experiences.
Emerging from a period of transition, uncertainty, and reconstruction, Unfinished Beginnings reflects on what it means to begin again — not as a perfect or completed state, but as a fragile, evolving, and deeply human process. Across painting, photography, sculpture, textile, drawing, and mixed media, the artists explore themes of memory, vulnerability, healing, identity, belonging, and emotional transformation.
The exhibition unfolds as an atmospheric journey through shifting emotional landscapes. Bodies dissolve into light and shadow, landscapes become psychological terrains, and materials carry traces of resilience, intimacy, displacement, and renewal. Rather than presenting artworks as isolated objects, the exhibition transforms the gallery into a space of encounter and reflection, where atmosphere, storytelling, and sensory experience become part of the work itself.
At its core, Unfinished Beginnings introduces Galerie Sechs’ new direction: a contemporary gallery dedicated to creating human-centered exhibitions that invite visitors to slow down, connect emotionally, and experience contemporary art beyond observation alone.
