Eurasia is a tactile and contemplative exhibition by French–Khmer artist Arun Khau Ny, exploring how belonging is formed, remembered, and expressed across cultures and generations. Through mineral pastes, cellulose, sand, metal, resin, plant fibers, and layered patinas, Arun creates surfaces that evoke both archaeological depth and intimate personal history. Each work acts as a meeting point between collective memory and contemporary abstraction, bridging geographies and revealing the subtle connections that shape identity.

Rooted in memories of childhood in Cambodia and informed by a material practice grounded in care, Arun’s approach transforms texture into testimony. Pigment becomes time; relief becomes trace; surface becomes narrative. The artworks invite viewers to consider belonging not as a fixed place but as an accumulation of lived moments, sensory imprints, and inherited stories—an evolving terrain shaped by movement, resilience, and remembrance.

Extending beyond the canvas, Eurasia also offers communal spaces where visitors can reflect on their own histories, roots, and names. These gentle participatory installations create openings for shared storytelling, honoring the ways in which personal narratives intertwine and echo across communities.

Guided by a curatorial vision that seeks to illuminate the human search for connection and place, Eurasia invites us to witness how belonging is continually formed—through memory, through material, and through the quiet, enduring ties that anchor us to one another.
