Unbound Bodies brings together works that challenge fixed representations of the body and identity. Across photography, textile, and experimental image-making, the exhibition explores how bodies can exist beyond imposed norms—social, aesthetic, and psychological.
Featuring Renate Fluri, Julia Wimmerlin, and Artem Humilevskyi, the exhibition unfolds through distinct yet interconnected practices. Fluri examines the body as a site of femininity and cultural meaning; Wimmerlin creates dreamlike images where identity dissolves into atmosphere; and Humilevskyi uses his own body to confront stereotypes and expand ideas of acceptance and resilience.
The works move between presence and dissolution—between visibility and abstraction—revealing the body not as a fixed image, but as a fluid and evolving condition shaped by memory, perception, and experience.
