At VOLTA Basel, Galerie Sechs presents Julia Wimmerlin, Marco Benedetti, Arun Khau Ny, and Renate Fluri in a concentrated installation conceived as an immersive meditation on feminine resilience and vulnerability. Across 13 works, the booth unfolds as a ceremonial journey between the sacred and the chaotic, tracing shifting states of awareness, fragmentation, and renewal.

At its center rises an altar-like structure — a visual sanctuary where fractured female figures seek protection from the relentless white noise of contemporary life. Blue, water-infused works open a space of introspection and subconscious memory, while turbulent white gestures evoke digital interference and spiritual static. As red gradually emerges, emotion transforms into activated presence. Across diverse media, the artists reposition the female body from image to structure — an architecture of resistance, shelter, and metamorphosis within a fractured world.
